This journal is in honor of the No Cussing Group. May that group go on for a long time and I pray more people will join. I also pray that the death threats on this young man's life who made this group goes away. He is a brave young man. He deserve this honor.
IDOL: 1. an image of a god use as an object of worship 2. an object of ardent or excessive devotion
The bible talks about idols in a lot of places but the most best place to find it is Exodus 20:1-17 when Moses give the ten commandments Exodus20:4-6 says "Do not make an idol for yourself wheather in the shape of anything in heaven above or on the earth below or in the water under the earth. You must not bow down t them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing the children for the Father's sin to the third and fourth (generations) of those who hate me but showing faithful love to a thousand (generations) of those who love me and keep my commands"
What does this mean? This is what I think it means. God will bless those who love him and obey his commandments. But to those who don't be ready for the punishment.
What is considered a idol? Have you heard of "American Idol"? I'm sure everyone has. They put the word idol there for a reason. From what I know back then in the bible age and idol can be a object or a God that someone made up. Even some of the Romans believed in many Gods even though there is only one God. Now a days it is sports heros, superstars, singers. It can also be other religions muslums, budist, satanist, islamic and more I can't think of. 
Last year in the Packers there was this drama over to bring back Brett Farve. (Wait. I am a fan.) People was fighting over if he should come back or not or give Rogers a try. Then when they decided not to bring him back then they say Rogers wasn't playing very good. (I think he did a great job for the first year) WHAT!?!?!? DOES LIFE REVOLVE AROUND FOOTBALL!?!?!? NO IT DOESN'T!!! People may leave and others may die but God is always there by your side.
People understand these people may wither away and die but what is always a constant fact. Good old GOD who loves us for who we are right now. We are never alone with him. He also thinks we all are beauty beyond compair.
People get confused with the trinity. God is the 3 in 1. God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit. I got in a verbal agruement with a Johova Witness about the trinity and she brought up that when Adam and Eve was down in the Garden of Eden that God's spirit was there too. I thought (after the fact so I didn't tell her) what do you think God's spirit is!? It is the Holy Spirit!! All three are God. God is just in 3 parts! 
I had a guy on the bus who didn't believe in God. He didn't want me to talk to him about God. We got talking about the president. I said "There is one higher than the presedent" He said "Who?" "God!" I said He didn't like it.
The bible is life's instruction. Through that book can be set up morals and values. It shows that you need to love yourself and others like you love God. For those people who don't know God they can find the bible in the bible. 
I know I have gotten off course but with all of this that I said I hope and pray you find God if you haven't already. Please turn to him right now if your heart is open to it.
